Advanticom wants to make you aware of an issue related to Adobe Flash going end-of-life. On December 31st, Adobe will no longer be supporting Flash Player and will block that content from running beginning on January 12, 2021. Windows has provided an update that removes Adobe Flash Player from all devices. Once the update is applied, you will not be able to retrieve it. Our cybersecurity team anticipates this to become a potential target for attacks if it is not removed. We recommend running this update immediately to remove the Adobe Flash Player and closing the vulnerability.
Flash is also being removed for Windows Server 2012 R2 – 2019. This can cause issues for environments running an older version of VMware vCenter that utilized the Flash client. The recommended best practice solution would be to upgrade any VMware system that is dependent on Flash.
